What this does

A monitor probes your target on a fixed interval from one or more regions. Results feed uptime %, incident detection and your status pages.

Check types

HTTP(S) — status code + latency of a URL.
Keyword — HTTP + assert a string is present/absent.
SSL expiry — days left on the TLS cert.
Domain expiry — days left on the domain registration.
Heartbeat — you ping us; we alert if the ping stops.
JSON path — fetch JSON, assert a JSONPath value matches.
Multi-module health — fan-out per-module status checks; aggregate to up/degraded/down.
Statuspage importer — read an upstream Statuspage summary.json and surface their components.
Browser keyword — Playwright-rendered DOM keyword check (Studio tier; capped at 20% of monitors).

Regions & quorum

Pick where the probe runs. With multiple regions a failure must be seen by a quorum before an incident opens — single-region blips don't page you. Multi-region is a Studio-tier feature.

Interval

How often to probe, in seconds (min 30). Lower = faster detection, more checks against your plan quota.
